Ubiquity is the coolest firefox plugin yet. It allows you to give commands to firefox in normal english to look for directions, update twitter, insert maps in mails and much much more.
I also wrote a small plugin for ubiquity which allows you to look up words at Definr.com, my favorite dictionary site. You can get it here: http://gist.github.com/217297
