IITK is full of artificial light and so I was unable to take good photos of the night sky.
Shubham suggested a particular spot about a kilometer from IITK, a few hundred meters off the highway. This in addition to being extra dark had a grove of palm trees and is called "The Oasis" by Shubham.
Me, Shubham and
Kshitij set off for the place at 2 am yesterday on Shubham's scooty on an almost empty tank. We were able to find a petrol pump open after riding for about 3-4 kms and finally managed to reach this place. Here are some of the pics taken at this awesome place:
